The burger had great texture. The bacon was super crispy, the cheese was melted perfectly, the beef was not ground too finely, and the whole experience was extremely positive for me. The bun, however, was not fresh; I think it may have been at the end of it’s limit, bordering on stale. I don’t know why so many great burgers are served on such terrible buns. It seems elementary that such a large portion of your meal be presented and served well, but OTB disregards, and just serves whatever comes in the giant plastic bag filled with bread spheres. I had the Urban Velo, which is served with hot sauce, pepper cheese, and smoked bacon and blue cheese dressing on the side. I used the blue for dipping my fries, which were delicious.
I am looking forward to returning to OTB to try some of their different types of burgers, but I don’t think I will ever work up the courage to try a burger with peanut butter. |
